We would be grateful if you could ask your neighbours who may park cars and such like in front of your home, not to do so on the removal day, so that our trucks have proper access to the road.

If the residence has general lifts or service lifts, please ensure that the building’s caretaker is made aware of the move, and our requirements for the exclusive use of lifts on the day

It would be helpful if you mark which articles are to be packed & which are to remain. We can supply you with the approved stickers for the purpose.

Our crews cannot interfere with your service connections. You must arrange for disconnection of your washing machine, cooker and any items that are connected to the electric or gas main.

DO NOT PACK: Gas Cylinders, methylated spirits fuel containers etc & SECURE: All loose bottle tops or can lids etc.

If you are unable to take immediate possession of your new residence, your belongings can be stored in at or warehouse in Strijdom park. Arans agents throughout the world provide safe storage facilities for holding your goods until you're ready for them. However, you are responsible for the storage charges, warehouse valuation coverage and final delivery charges from the warehouse.

Most refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other electrical or mechanical appliances require special servicing to ensure safe transportation. Any moving parts such as motors on major appliances, washing machines,tumbler dryers , ice makers etc ,should be securely fastened for shipment. Gas appliances need to be serviced and disconnected prior to your move.

It is the owner's responsibility to see that appliances are serviced for shipment before they are loaded on the vehicle. Upon request and for an additional charge, a moving company will perform this service, using either its own qualified personnel or an authorized service company.
